Not much has changed

So yeah, other than Dallas and my new nails and my job and car and myspace, not much has changed since I last posted something.
THE RUNDOWN:
~Got a job, money and now actually drive my car. Whopee, except for gas prices.
~Actually use my myspace like all the other lemmings of my generation.
~Went through my normal usual cycle of liking guys and then settled on two: Danny and Logan. If given the absolute choice, I'll take Logan in a heartbeat if he'll have me.
~Went to Nationals and found out that I have alot still left to do.

~Can't give up on this thing no matter how hard I try.

Alright, so I've decided to tell some truths.
I'm going to say three things that I have a true passion/obsession/molestation for.

1. Conan O'Brien

And now, an explanation.

1. He's just so damn funny. I adore his hair and the expressions and it's just so cool.

2. I love regular eggnog. I don't know what I'm going to do when I'm able to drink alcoholic eggnog. Watch out world. Plus my mom can vouch, I've got a nog thing.

3. It's hilarious. Alan Alda's a genious. Watch it sometime.

So for Christmas, I got a PS2, *Dance of Joy* and two games. One was an X-men game and the other was the home version of DDR. Hooked up the DDR pad thingy and the first thing I did was bend my big toe the wrong way. I'm an idiot.
On an entirely separate note, my show had it's season finale tonight. Pissed me off throughly because Tommy betrayed them all. Big problems gonna arise after Connie shot someone in cold blood. *shudder* Jimmy has rage issues, but thankfully he worked out some of them with his cancer-ridden father. Jimmy still rocks my socks.
Saw Memoirs of a Geisha today. Was really good. Must read the book some time soon.

Well, I thought that I would make one last post as a sixteen year old.
I actually don't have much to say about turning 17. I guess I could talk about the past couple of days. On Friday, I had the nicest nap during 5th period exam and hung out with Drama 2 during 6th period exam.
Alyssa (my freshmen) gave me some yarn to crochet into a scarf for her. I'm almost done, it's kinda thin, but it'll look pretty nice. Read Hitchhikers' Guide when I wasn't sleeping or winding up the yarn. All of my teachers adored the giftcards. Definitely what my teachers are getting next year.
During 6th period exam, I gate-crashed Drama 2's exam. Stole Dan's gameboy and played Tetris until enough people finished up their exams and we got to watch performance exams. Everybody was pretty good actually. Drama 2 isn't a half bad new group for the future. Afterwards, we played Murderwink and then Freeze and Justify. Officially the best game of Freeze and Justify ever.
After that, me and Cat went to Metropolitan Ministries and sorted food donations in the big Christmas tent. It was an obscene amount of fun. I insist that Anchor do it next year and that Cat and I should do it one of the days of our break next year. It really is rather fun.
When we left Metropolitan Ministries, Faith dropped us off at my house and Cat hung around until the party. I did Cathy's makeup, it was fun.
Will post the rest later, when I'm seventeen.

So Nicole says I don't post enough. Which is true. Then again, I also haven't seen her since December. It's in no way related but I though I'd bring it up.
So I'm at Cathy's house listening to Fall Out Boy while she works on her Psych project and I munch on candy corn.
My day was boring. My teacher in Spanish moved my seat further into the corner to give other people better seats.
We redid our monologues for Drama. Mr. Wicker said I was good but I have a tendency to loose volume at the ends of sentences. Fina was good and so was Julie. Together, we dubbed Ben 'Sunshine' and it made me laugh a lot. I think he's getting used to us cause he doesn't flick us off as much as he did last year.
Had fun doing a mini-Socratic seminar in AP Lang. Pardo said that if she told us halfway through that we had an A, we should let oither people talk. So technically, she told me to be quiet. I hope I do as well in the one that really matters tomorrow. I should review 'Letter from Birmngham Jail'.
Trig was bad as always. Ryne got moved into the class which was a source of amusion.
AP US History was interesting. Robaldo was annoying, Brandon was interesting. Sean was being funny and Fina kept giggling. I set the curve on the test. I got a 115 without extra credit and a 120 with. Best grade in the class. Led to some interesting conversations.
At lunch, Cat and I sang Christmas carols and annoyed the pagans. AHAHAHA. A source of great amusement.
Physics was fun because we did a lab on bubble gum chewing. Annoyed the hell out of my jaw but had fun with my group. Met and talked with the kid in my class who is both a sophomore and from Venezuela. He was a real sweetie and I ended up talking to him and the British kid and this other nice guy. Was fun.
Had to rush back to get my Trig book and had to confirm with Ms. Newman about an officer meeting tomorrow for debate. Stopped in guidance and signed up to talked to some colleges but ended up that I had missed FIU because they had been there this morning. Got a brochure and Ms. Robertson recommended I got to the college night, either tonight at Sickles or on Thursday at Chamberlain. I might beg to got to Chamberlain on Thursday. I really want to talk to FIU. And if I'm lucky, some other colleges I want to talk to will be there.
After school, I drove with Cat over to Hancock where she picked up some ribbons and patches for her Psych work. It got me looking through pattern books for formal dresses because somehow during the day, I was re-convinced that I should got to Homecoming. And I was thinking that maybe I should go shopping for a dress this weekend or talk my mom into possibly sewing me a dress because then I know it would fit.
Also bought some film to take pictures at the game on Friday because I need to use my camera. My dad will be happy to know that I got 800 film.
So is my day so far, excluding the Drama-Thespian Super meeting later on today.
Three day weekend this weekend.
